an honest letter

Thinking back to why I started this blog, how far we’ve come makes me so proud and happy.

Currently getting all the feels. I’m embarrassed to admit that I grew up reading and writing poetry, mostly in Turkish. Earlier today in the shower, there was an explosion of emotions which made me write a little something.

I’m dedicating this one to all my favorite creative people who are dedicating their lives to being unique, not afraid to follow their own path. Y’all inspire me.

when they zig,

you zag.

“think different”

vintage, 1984 style

oh but it’s timeless, too.

channeling my inner crazy ones,

because it’s all about embracing

who. you. are.

find yourself,

because no one else is

you.

Thanks for reading x

  1. how amazing!!!! I love this piece that you wrote and it would actually make for a wonderful quote that a lot of us can relate to! well done my love… and can I say how obsessed I am with this look and the photos?!?! killing it in so many ways xoxo

  2. I dig the new poetry! It’d be interesting to see how you blend Turkish concepts with American, perhaps?
