Happy Monday from Hong Kong!
As we are nearing the end of our trip, I wanted to put together the first part of Hong Kong travel journal. This is my first trip to this part of Asia, and I’m quite smitten by everything here. If I could convince Abel, we’d be living here by now. 🙂
The architecture in Hong Kong is one of the first things that really stood out to us. The mix of old and new creates a stark contrast. Since it’s quite an international city, almost everyone speaks English here which is makes it easy to get around. I was once told that Hong Kong is a good place to start when it’s your first time in Asia “to ease yourself in” to the culture shock. The beautiful skylines, buddhist monasteries filled with zen, trendy shopping malls — there’s something to do for everyone. Not to mention the diverse ramen scene.
Highlights from this post: all things matcha at Sinmei Tea, Ten Thousands Buddhas Monastery, spa day at the Intercontinental I-Spa.
Thank you for reading!
xx Melis

Sending you kisses from Sydney!
I’ve recently been sent by Sony to the iconic Whitsundays to review their Xperia Z5 mobile camera – would love if you checked out the post and let me know your thoughts!!
