maui travel journal

Aloha!

I’m not going to lie, it took a minute to put these photos together, I guess you could say that I wasn’t ready to have my closure with this magical island, Maui. It’s been over two years since the last time we were in Hawaii. She’s just as beautiful, and gives me so much to think about… The main question I ask myself… Why don’t I live here? I’m afraid the concrete jungle isn’t done with me yet. 🙂

This trip was far from perfect with lots of flight cancellations, and unexpected overnight stays in Dallas, LA, but when life gives you lemons, you make lemonade. Or in our case, we got to experience the real Tex Mex. You realize when you travel, life is far from perfect, and so many unexpected things are bound to happen. But the best you can do is to go with the flow, enjoy the small moments.

We are excited for another trip to Germany that’s coming very soon, and visit family. Also we’re overdue a new mewly check in, and some new content on the queue, so stay tuned.

Thank you for reading! x

  1. This is just pure paradise and I’m so glad you guys went back! The photos are absolutely breathtaking and I’m loving all your swimsuits and looks… so perfect for the tropics! Your trip sure made every flight cancellation worth it and you will always have the memories to look back and laugh at hehe 🙂 cannot wait for your trip to Germany love xoxo

  2. We always go back to Hawaii every year since it is so much closer to us than you and we love it too! Something about the Hawaiian islands that is so relaxing and easy. We haven’t been back to Maui (we go to Oahu usually) for a few years but all your photos have me dreaming of another Maui vacation soon. I need to know where you stayed since your photos are all so gorgeous. The swimsuits to your coverups to your Chanel slides! I need it all. What a magical vacation and I am excited to see more of your travels to Germany! How fun!! xoxo, Christine

  3. Loved seeing these photos, Maui is gorgeous! I’ve been to Maui once but Oahu a few more times and I think there’s just something about Hawaii that is (although this sounds cliche) super magical.
