Fashion Mews is “mews” for a reason. I find it hard to exist when Abel, myself or Ramen is missing from the equation. Now you can make fun of us because we’re like the siamese triplets, but I guess that’s what being a family is all about.
Long story short Abel is traveling for the next week or so, and I don’t think we’ve ever been apart for that long since we’ve been married. It’s scary, but a good challenge at the same time. Scary because as you all know Abel is the principal photographer for most of our content if stated otherwise, and of course his presence means the world to me. It’s good at the same time, because it pushes me out of my comfort zone, to shoot with friends, blogger friends and hey I may even ask a random stranger to take a photo of me who knows. Stay tuned!
the agenda
We’re heads down planning for travel. We were originally supposed to ship out to Italy, but we’ve had some hiccups along the way which made us quickly redesign our trip. So we’re headed to somewhere tropical for my birthday next week. I’m also working on a last minute trip this weekend to visit my best friend, thanks to Abel’s absence.
what we are watching
We are supposed to be watching House of Cards, but as you know we’re oceans apart at the moment. Looks like we’ll have to suffer for an additional week before we get started on that. In the meantime, no spoilers please.
what we are listening
Unforgettable by French Montana is currently on repeat! Some other tunes we are loving: Yuna – Lullabies, Kodak Black, Nav and Big Boi Kill Jill have been popping up frequently. Does anyone else get quite the satisfaction listening to rap music while running? It can’t be just me!
the outfit
Despite rainy and gloomy NYC days, I am insistent on wearing summer clothes. What better way to do this than putting together a stripes on stripes look. Blue has been my favorite color since forever, and I’m finding myself wearing lots of blue shades lately.

Loving all these stripes! Great photos. And crazy coincidence – my boyfriend and I also wanted to go to Italy for this birthday week but have decided to go somewhere tropical instead! I’m kind of sad because I really want to go to Italy but I can’t complain about a tropical beach.
