my creative work flow // day-to-night look

Happy Tuesday!

It’s 1:25 am in SF, and I’m going improv. Bear with me here.

Some of you asked me last week, “How do you post a photo everyday?” Prioritize your time. Schedule some time and come up with concepts beforehand. Create calendar events, take screenshots of photos you like. Find photographers or bloggers you aspire to be on Instagram, get to know their styles better.

In the beginning, this may come to you as forced exercise. These are growing pains. Like in yoga, you need to master the good pain to get better. If you don’t invest in the building blocks, you won’t be able to see the results.

Another advice I was given and now I give to others around me is to surround yourself with people who inspire you. Be the dumbest person in the room if you can. One of the best ways to grow.

Also if you’re interested in learning more about what it takes to be an entrepreneur, my husband Abel is doing a talk this Wednesday. You can sign up here. I’m not biased or anything, but he’s got quite the story. 😉

Enough startups, onto fashion.

Off the shoulder blouses are one of my favorite trends this summer! I had a lot of fun putting together this all black day-to-night look. It’s one of the girliest looks I posted to date. I hope you like it.

p.s. Any of you Zara fans, good news, there’s a huge sale going on right now, so do check it out if you can!

Blouse: Zara (similar here) // Shorts: Topshop // Cat shoes: Marc Jacobs // Heels: Jeffrey Campbell // Bag: Proenza Schouler // Sunnies: Thierry Lasry

Thanks for reading friends! Have a great week.

xx Melis
